We looked at a lot different maps, and always run into one of two thingsġ) The map has quests and command blocks already in it (as described in Kingdom or Cormyr, other maps also tend to have this problem)Ģ) The map is just one city on an island or something and doesn't have wilderness or other villages (the youtuber Keralis reviews a lot of maps but they tend to have this issue)ĭoes anyone know of a good 1.12.2 (or earlier version should still work when put into 1.12.2) map that fits the requirements we are looking for? Medieval, not just one big city by also wilderness and small settlements, and no pre-existing quests or mechanics. For a while we were going to use this:īut the problem is it has a ton of command block stuff already in it, has some predefined quests and NPCs, has a pre-build class and economy system, and finished areas. However, we hit a snag in finding a good map. We would use the map as the base for everything and then ourselves build dungeons and other notable locations the map doesn't already have. Some big cities, small villages, wilderness in between, nice terrain, etc. Our one big problem is we wanted to find a good 1.12.2 map of like a medieval kingdom to base things off of. (More of less following the MTG Innistrad storyline) We plan on using a butt-ton of mods mixed with command block stuff (one of our players is amazing with commands) for different monsters and weapons and whatnot, and the DMs can act as NPCs and bosses and the whole thing. So my friends and I do a lot of Dungeons and Dragons stuff, and a lot of Minecraft, and recently we decided to try to combine the two and basically do DnD in MC.
